Patterson has been bad. But he isn't as bad as non existent like he is. Wtf is Norv Turner doing not doing screens, end arounds, hand it off to him, throw him a quick slant. Do frickking something. It's inexcusable how the best player in that offense is not being used.

I don't think Patterson is even worth a roster spot in leagues smaller than 12 teams

He blows

He ain't a great play for sure. But his talent is being wasted by the lack of usage.

I was never has high on these 2 as everyone else. But Patterson and Gerhart fell to the 7th and 8th rounds respectively in one of my 12 team PPRs so I grabbed them then. They are wayyyy underperforming even the "value" spot I got them at.

No fires to be set tonight. Had the Vikings' QB situation not being such hot garbage and AP not beat his children Patterson could've had a solid year. He's fricked now though

If I said he went undrafted in one of my leagues, people would think I'm lying and crazy. But, it happened.

It's shallow because it's a family league... but still.

I think Norv lost his notebook with the ten plays for C Patt he drew up as soon as he was hired. At least I get return yards and Patterson just says frick it and takes every ball he catches out the endzone.

Not directing this towards you, but rather just in general...But who ever proclaimed this guy the best player in that offense? Aside from the final quarter or so of last season, the dude sucked. He got gassed up because Norv Turner was supposed to be his savior and turn this guy into the next biggest thing. Fact is, and it's becoming more apparent each week, this guy is nothing more than another WR out of Tennessee that just sucks. His route running is terrible, measurables are good, but he's just not that smart of a football player. To say he's the most talented player in that offense, at this point, is ludicrous, IMO. Jarius Wright is running laps around Patterson right now looking like everything Patterson was supposed to be and then some, and most likely will continue to when Bridgewater comes back. I'm really thinking about dropping C-Patt and picking up Wright on the WW next week.

ETA - And then there's this this AM:
quote:

Cordarrelle Patterson said his hip is "fine," and that he wants to be "more involved" on offense.
quote:

"I don't know what's going on," Patterson continued. "We have a plan. I'm sticking to the plan. I trust coach (Norv) Turner and the whole staff with what they're doing. Hopefully I get more touches." Since totaling 128 yards and a touchdown in the opener, Patterson is averaging 3 catches for 40.75 yards per game with no scores and just one total rushing attempt over the past four games. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR4 when the Vikings host the Lions in Week 6.
