20+ppg PFs are a dime a dozen. 20+ppg SGs- there are only 3 in the league (with D Wade at 19.8 counting the 2 games he got docked for leaving in the 1st quarter).

this is all very true...that's why i have been offering much more than just Griffin.
i think the point is still the same...he could have got more and netted more talent overall in a different deal

I guess so. He would have been taken on added risk though trying to move a player he had no need for and no guarantee that he could get equal value in return (since people know he didn't have a need for him in the first place). Hard for any of us to say it was a bad move without knowing what the end result of moving Griffin for another player would be
