It's for recreational drugs, and I don't really have a problem with them all coming back. If it were reducing suspensions for hitting wives, bringing guns into the club, or repeat DUIs, then I'd have a problem with it.

Just being honest. If he gets reinstated, the NFL will look even worse than they already do. RG resignation in the works.

Completely disagree. I see now way it DOESNT happen if only to get the story of Ray.

Most people also feel the NFL's beliefs on marijuana are archaic as hell. I know it wasn't a first offense but people still see a year ban for pot vs a 6 game suspension or what it is for domestic violence as a joke (because it is).

Regarding Ray Rice, is this his first offense?
Is it his first offense of punching his fiance in the face and knocking her out cold, then dragging her around? God I hope so.

I'd rather fail 100x drug screenings.

He was but amphetamines are classified as performance enhancing and the new proposal moves them to recreational. So I think the suspensions are different and not automatic 4 games.

The NFL classifies it as PED now. It will be moved to recreational during the offseason.

Eta so still PED if found during the season tests

Wait...who are you taking about? Welker was always coming back. He may just get a shorter suspension.
