Watching that play again, it appears the Giants defender gained position prior to it being stripped and recovered by Mahomes. Curious if NFL reviews. Also kind of surprised, booth didn’t at least take a look bc that could’ve mean 1st and 10 instead of 3rd and a mile.

Yes I have KC D so I was paying attention but this won’t make a difference in the outcome.

If the Giants player was ruled to have possession, KC would have gotten a 1st and 10, but they didn’t.

Agree. I’m just saying if I’m Andy Reid then it would’ve been worth challenging (it was inside of 2 mins though so it wasn’t his call). Looking at it again, the defender was just about to tuck it away when Mahomes got there so it probably wasn’t a change of possession.
