BB3, I know you decided on draftime for the draft, but we may want to check out Clickydraft instead.
It's $5 more for the premium we would need ($15 vs $10 for draftime), but seems more mobile friendly since we're slow drafting. Includes both email and text alerts when you're up to draft. Seems some other leagues are using this and BilJ and OneMoreTime recommended.

Is there a time limit on picks? That's literally my only complaint.

This is from the site:
"Timers are available to help control the pace of the draft. The timer can be paused indefinitely by the commissioner, and can have its duration adjusted at any time. Timers are a premium feature."

Ok cool. Actually would you like to set up and run the draft this year?

I also checked out some reddit posts and timer seems easily doable.
The main advantage I think with clickydraft is the text alerts and updated draft board for our mobile members not behind a PC. Draftime says it does email notification when on the clock. Just depends on if we want the extra features.
Also, clicky seems more reliable and easier to contact IMO. Draftime runs a contact form page. Clicky developer has FB, email and even posted in a 2014 reddit answering a support question.

I won't have the bandwidth to update a draft topic with regularity - reason we need a slow draft app platform.
I should have the time to input final draft into ESPN. I am also cool with paying for the draft app and configuring settings. Thing is my availability is broad, but comes in spurts. So I may have a few hour block here and there, but not a consistent monitoring.

Gotcha. I can do everything with setting it up no problems. I do appreciate the help with importing the draft to ESPN.

I'm going to make you an assistant in case the league needs something and I'm not available. That cool?

Assistants are able to control every team, but do not have access to league settings. They can make picks, undo picks, change team names, and adjust the timer (if available).

Just a heads up guys, I may be in and out of this thread a little infrequently. My fricking laptop caught fire last night while I was out and is completely done.
Hopefully I'll have a new one soon but I'm not really sure when it'll be. If you guys have any reqs for laptops I would love to hear them also.
I'll do my best to check in as often as I can. I'm down for the newer idea for the draft.

I just noticed the draft is set for 15 rounds so we'll draft the last round in this thread.

I can't edit it. I'd have to create a new league on there and people already started joining.
Posted on 7/20/15 at 6:13 pm to Byron Bojangles III
Gotcha. Round 16 is no biggie. You can adjust timers after league creation, correct? That's our important one.
Posted on 7/20/15 at 6:18 pm to drizztiger
Actually I already paid the 15 bucks and this was an option. It's set to manual.

Okay, so the plan would be to leave timer off unless someone just isn't making their pick?
Posted on 7/20/15 at 6:40 pm to drizztiger
Yeah we'll do what we did last year, if we don't hear from the person OTC we'll give them bpa but I don't think that'll be a problem.

I also think you should take the $15 out from your entry fee.
Looking around the site, it doesn't look like it has text alerts like I thought, only email alerts. It's under options in the draft room for each owner.
