0.5 PPR we start 1 RB, 2 WR, and 2 Flex.

AJ Green is my 3rd round keeper. With all of the keepers factored in, the best available RBs at 1.14 and 2.15 are:

Freeman, McCaffrey, Jordan Howard, McCoy, K. Drake, etc.

Best available WRs at the turn are M. Evans, TY Hilton, Thielen, Ty Hill, Baldwin, etc.

I’m not thrilled with the RB options in that spot. Should I go RB/WR, or maybe WR/WR and then just salvage what RBs I can in Rds 4&5?

Gronk will also be available more than likely, but I’ve never been a fan of taking TEs early.

Without thinking too deep out of those listed I’d probably go like McCaffrey, Howard. If that’s how it popped up in my screen.

I would also consider Evans but that team seems like it could be a shitshow.

Freeman
McCaffrey

RBs at that spot are better than the WRs. You can find WRs close to that level later on

Edit: didn’t see your 1 RB rule. That changes things

Would you take McKinnon over either of those 2? Esp factoring in injury concerns

Not sure who you’re replying to but I’d say no. I want stable RBs in my top two picks, especially since you already have your 3rd rounder as a WR. I think Freeman will improve this year, and McCaffrey was good down the stretch last year and should be even better this year

please do not draft two RBs there if you only need to start 1

If you must grab a RB, grab McCaffery and Evans. That would be a nice haul at that turn

Personally, Id be very happy with a Green/Evans/Hilton trio. Nab your 1 RB in the next round and the BPA, probably another WR. 4 WR and 1 RB as your starters

That’s kinda my thought process.

I’d much rather my 2nd WR before my 2nd RB, esp since we’re only required to start one. But I do think WR is much deeper than RB, so I’m torn. Lol

RBs had a good year last year but are still volatile. Recency bias at work

Your best bet is to have a few RBs who can shake out later in the year. And look to handcuff whoever your RB1 is

On McCaffery, I’ve heard some projections of 240 carries and 80 catches.

You can take Freeman and put him at RB and then make the decision on McCaffery or the top WR available, or go McCaffery and decide between Freeman and the top WR available.

Don’t think you can go wrong either way, but the WR pool is currently deeper than the RB pool.
