I really needed WRs. He really needed a QB. I'm going to start both of them and he's solid at WR. It makes sense.

Prior to this week, Wallace was ranked 10th in our league and Hopkins 18th. That's WR1/2 and WR2/3 rankings. But with Mega, Jordy and Antonio, I am strong at WR. Kaep hasn't progressed like I thought he would so far this year. Peyton gives me a top QB - even in a 4 point passing TD league - to rely on.

Issue for me now is depth. I'll have an open roster spot and Rudolph out for 6 to 8, with not many likable options on the wire.

Oh and Hopkins would be a $3 keeper next year, but that's ages from now.

I see what you're saying that both have been playing well, but it's thru 2 weeks. You can't really use that as an argument...

If Bradshaw was the No. 1 PPR back through three weeks, would you trade him for McCoy? No. Point is, you don't trade someone based of where they rank thru a few weeks, nor do you use that as an explanation to a trade.

I have Cousins. I have faith in him. I now have great strength at WR. I'm making this trade based on What I think Hopkins will be. I was starting Mohamed Sanu for crying out loud. I've seen people trading Manning when they had Cousins for Montee Ball alone.

I understand your point. I didn't offer this trade and I also didn't instant accept either. Between afternoon work meetings, I looked at this for a few hours before accepting. My team is affected in quite a few ways by this trade. To me, it's not just as simple as seeing Peyton Manning and there ya go. I am losing IMO the best WR depth of any team in this league.

That's my take on it.

Agreed, but I am of the opinion that WR depth isn't as necessary as say RBs.

You have 3 stud WRs in Calvin, Jordy, A. Brown. Wallace and Hopkins would have never seen your lineup unless one of your main three went down.
