Keeper Question: Ja’marr Chase in the 1st or Jonathan Taylor in the 3rd?

I can keep two keepers. I’m definitely keeping Ceedee Lamb in the 2nd, so it comes down to Chase and Taylor.
I don’t know where I will be picking though as draft slots are not declared until after keeper picks are made. Also, you can only keep a player if he wasn’t a keeper the year before. I mention this as some good players will not be kept such as CMC who was kept last year and won’t this year.
I’m leaning to Taylor as a 3rd for the value and then rolling the dice that I get someone good in the 1st. Thoughts?

If you know your draft spot before the draft that would be really helpful.
Taylor in the 3rd is definitely a better value just looking at it without knowing your draft position, but he has had injury issues on a team with a question mark @ QB and a line that has been declining for multiple years now.
The fact that you can't keep someone two years in a row kind of makes me think you keep Taylor and then you might have a chance to draft Chase anyway in the 1st depending on where you're at, so you could end up with both if you wanted and then potentially keep Chase next year.

No real value if giving up a 1st rounder unless you are picking late. Even then, it would only be .5 round value. Taylor gives you 1-1.5 round value, so I'd go with him.
ETA: There's a chance you could redraft Chase in the 1st. There's no chance of drafting JT in the 3rd.
