ehh RBs are always hard to come by. I personally wouldn't JJ is going to be a top 5 back this year. DHop might be a top 5 WR.

I'd keep Jacobs and pick up Corey Davis or someone on the waiver.

Hell no. They probably finish around the same positional ranking but RB > WR any day all day. If you are hurting for WR in a 10 team league, the waivers will have a few decent options every week...
I realize Jacobs isn’t likely to score 3TD’s many more times, but Hopkins’ volume is much more likely to drop than Jacobs’

No way. Even in PPR leagues, Jacobs is much more valuable. You can find low end playable WRs on the waiver wire; that can't be said about RBs every week.

I won't be totally shocked if JJ finishes RB1 this season. Looks like they're actually going to throw him the ball and handoffs are always going to be preferred inside the 5 with Gruden. You've got some decent pass catching backs behind him but there isn't really a back on the roster that they're going to use to "spell" him for multiple series per game. If he's got his breath he's going to be out there
