I’d drop Davis before I dropped Hogan

I was able to snag Gordon while holding Hogan on IR, but now the new week begins and I'll have to take him off IR since he will be Questionable and not "Out"

So basically it’s either Hogan or Davis. My concern is Shep and Hogan not playing this week and having to roll with Gordon his first week back.

I dropped him. Leading the league in scoring and he was my WR3. My team has been a mess lately and I was absolutely tired of hearing no real news on him or a timetable on his return. He's td dependent anyway. My other two starters are AJ and Michael Thomas. I need healthy bodies for the playoffs, already got burned by Andrew Luck. Dropped Cory Davis as well.

It depends on who you would be able to pick up in place of him.

Do you need the roster spot? I mean if you’re all hands on deck, need a W for the playoffs, then sure. But I’d rather not let a potential asset like Hogan end up on my competition’s roster

Where is your league?

I'm not sure about the others, but with Yahoo, you can actually leave him on IR as long as you don't make any roster additions.

Meaning: You can still edit your bench/starters with Hogan on IR, but you wouldn't be able to drop your Defense for another with him on IR.

That's true but I don't care at the moment. Picked up Corey Coleman and Gordon. He helped carry the team the first 5 weeks but his recent play, combined with injury, combined with never knowing what gameplan Bill is going to go with was too much.

Clinched spot this week. Now just playing for potential Bye. Not anything on Waivers other than Mart Bryant. I really don’t want to drop Hogan though. I will prolly drop Davis and hope that Sterling can go this week.

Yahoo. Hmm maybe I can keep him on IR since I don’t need to make any moves

Don't drop him until Yahoo makes you, then.

You just can't make any trades (we should be past all trade deadlines by now) and you can't make any waiver or free agency moves. But you should be able to edit your starting lineup with players already on your bench.

I see

I’d probably drop Davis as well

We’ve seen him get 10 targets, we’ve seen him w no Matthews, hasn’t done anything with those opps. He’s struggling on top of that offense just not conducive to WR1 kinda production you’d hope for from a guy like davis

I always find it interesting when ground and pound teams use major assets on pieces they clearly have no plans to use

Reminds me of the Raiders back in the day when they kept reaching on WRs early that didn’t fit

Still early, but Davis is Crabtree with 49ers (minus 2012 breakout season). Took him changing scenery to reach his real potential with Carr and the raiders
