Don’t feel too bad. Tons of people obsessed with Waddle for some reason. You’d think he was the overall #1 pick in the league or something. I just don’t understand it.

Revisit this at the end of the year. Which passing offense over the last 20 games has shown elite production? Which team is a Super Bowl contender? Which team will very likely lead the league in scoring this year? How many games in Fields’ career has he even played at an average level? Maybe 5?? How many years has DJ Moore finished a s a top 10 WR? How many years has Waddle? Who do you trust calling plays, McDaniels or whoever the hell is calling plays for CHI? Waddle has had some bad luck so far, he is elite. Not just hypothetical elite like Moore has been his entire career, he’s been elite for the two years he’s been in the league, and this offense still has room to grow. Moore could very well finish as a top 10-15 WR this year, but the odds and track record for all things considered when comparing these two are heavily in favor of Waddle.

You (as all LSU fans seem to do) are relying too heavily on the past. Right now Fields is looking for Moore every time he throws. Barring injury that will continue. Waddle has been underutilized and Hill and the RB’s are going to continue to have their share. Both Moore and Waddle will have booms and busts this year but I’ll roll with WR1 over Waddle who appears to be the 4th best option on his own team.

Waddle was pretty fricking awesome in fantasy last year besides his injury.

In this offense Waddle is going to have his high-output performances. Just have to be patient.

You make good points, but i interpret your data in other ways.. eventually teams are going to have to start keying in on hill and the running backs leaving waddle as the less defensively focused presence. I normally would choose a wr1 over a WR2 but the dolphins offense could set records this year and who else does the opposing defense playing Chicago have to worry about? Herbert is hurt.. so you can spy fields or contain him, and double Moore. I’m sure most teams can live with making cole kmet beat them
