Give Charlie Morton, Receive George Springer, Chad Bettis, and Aaron Hicks.
I think I like the trade especially with my injury issues. I'm just not sure about Chad Bettis. Looks like he has put up decent numbers so far this year but am I taking to big of a hit at pitcher for picking up fielders? TIA

Can you get a better SP that Bettis?
It's a good deal for you just getting Springer, but losing Morton would be a big blow to your pitching

yup. I'd like to see the top 5 available SP and OF before saying get Springer.
I'd bet there's almost replacement value over Bettis in FA.

I would scratch Hicks
Say gimme Springer and an SP that's not Bettis
Think that lineup plays as long as you get a decent SP. But man that would be a bad staff without Morton
I would also like to see available SP, think we may be able to upgrade a few of those arms

I just went look at the FA SP and James Shields was available. I dropped Suarez and added Shields.
The top 6 available SP according to CBS projected stats are:

Archer is carrying a 4.46/1.30 with a 10-12 record over the last calendar year. Ks are there but man he has been disappointing.
Think I would prefer Hamels here if im making this deal, who has been dealing over his past 4 starts. Still wont win many games
Id also look to fill some of those bad SPs with high powered RP if theyre available

I’d rather Hamels too, but if he’s dealing with a manager who’s paying attention, i wouldn’t give him Hamels. You’re right though. That’s the ask.
