Help with league F/A rule

In my league Aiken was a free agent and was picked up on Monday. Since he was on a bye he wasn't locked by waivers. One of the guys in the league is all upset claiming its cheating. I always remember being able to do this but he doesn't believe us. Said we changed the settings.
Can I get an official Tiger Droppings ruling please?!
If a player is on a bye does he get locked up by waivers and can he be added on Monday?

Free to grab him on monday if he is on bye. Tell your friend to quit crying and get better at working the system

Who was dropped on Sunday night to pick up Kamar?
If the player who was dropped had not played or was on a bye, then there should be no issue.
Provide your friend a tissue.

In my league players on a bye are free agents until the Monday night game starts. Every league is different though so the guy complaining needs to learn rules of the league and shut the frick up.
