Is the weather that big of a concern in Tampa? In standard league, am I crazy for starting Dak against a vulnerable Eagles secondary? Or should I just roll with Brees?

I was just looking at the radar and looks like it's gonna clear out by kickoff. I'm waiting to see a live shot from the stadium before making a final decision. As of now, I'm starting Godwin and Saints D.

I'm mostly concerned with the field condition. How much rain got on the field after the tarp was taken off?

Similar situation with Winston and Russ Wilson. Let us know if y'all get any more details on field conditions.

Gyno posted this in the playoff thread...
quote:

Could still start up again before kickoff, but it's not raining right now in Tampa. Ton of rain this morning, but all with tarp on, so not as bad as it could have been here for Bucs-Saints.

I'm just gonna roll with the players I have in this game.

I'm gonna leave my lineup pulled up at game time and if it looks bad when the broadcast starts, I may try to make a last minute change.

same, i'm starting Winston. His ceiling is much higher than Wilson vs Vikings' D

The only thing that gives me pause in starting Godwin is that I have another very similar option in Sterling Shepard. But, in the past when I've made last minute changes, they've been bad ones.

Rain is gone. Field is wet but I’m rolling with Brees over Matt Ryan. Hopefully it pays off

At first glance the field looks fine. We'll see how it holds up.
