Was just a proposed a trade where I send Puka Nacua and would receive Kyler Murray and Jauan Jennings. I definitely need a QB (Tua was my starter, playing Andy Daulton now). So Kyler would (should?) definitely be an upgrade, but I'm a little worried about Jauan Jennings and losing out on Puka later in the year. Thoughts?

My record right now is 3-1 and I'm expected to win this weekend.

frick no. I have Kyler. Because of the way they're running the offense, he's going to have weeks where he puts up 30, but there will be weeks where he puts up 10. Jennings is going to be practically useless as long as Deebo and Aiyuk are healthy.

You can find decent streaming QBs on waivers. Don't trade away a premium player for a mid level QB and a WR that someone is trying to sell high on. You're getting TRADE RAPED if you accept that

I would not do that. Dalton has been fine the last two weeks, he just has the "late career journeyman" stigma attached to him.

In a vacuum, I think you'd be fine considering longer-term options at the QB position but, if Puka is the piece you're dangling, I'd be shooting higher than Kyler. He's a bit too inconsistent to trade away the prospects of Puka later this season. I won't elaborate on Jennings because his prospects are even shorter-term than Dalton's are.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he has been healthy all season and has yet to have over 50 yds in a game. And that is with no CMC, Deebo was out one and Kittle was out at least one game.

Fair assessment, I appreciate the detailed response. I ended up declining the trade.
