Others in this league may buy that, Papz, but not me.

You love him

I somewhat regret not grabbing an OF a little earlier, but I'm ok with what i have there. Cain, Calhoun, and melky should be decent for me.

I probably should have grabbed a 2nd OF a little earlier. I love Springer... and Pearce is a guy who could really benefit from Markakis moving to ATL. He went 51/21/49/5/.373/.556 in only 338 ABs last season. If he could get 5-600 ABs that could be a steal. Or he could regress and see the same counting stats with much lower ratios.

I wish I had more of a sure thing to pair Springer instead of some maybes and Byrd, who's 38.

I did make sure to grab a few OF prospects who are nearly MLB ready though.

I was seriously considering taking him before you did.

I had him in the mix, I took two SPs as well in that back end.

BTW. 83-page thread and it's early February. Must be the new car smell. But I'm not complaining.

That's right you have Santana and was moving him all around during the draft. I remember seeing a few teams without a third baseman so I wanted to prevent them from getting one.

You're right though MWG, I do have a sore spot for him too.

I really wanted Rendon in the first, but Danny beat me to him, and he probably wouldn't have made it to me regardless.

I think Redd was lubing up for him as well.

I had three targets at 1.11.

Tulo
Felix
Rendon

Rendon went 1.10, and I ended up getting Tulo and Felix with my first two picks.

There is just certain guys you know Clams or Earl will own. I knew one of them would own Rendon

So I had no chance then. Gives me peace of mind.

Redd wanted Tulo... I would have happily taken Tulo at 15 as well. When Rendon and Tulo both went, I opted for the upside of Springer. I also really wanted Altuve, but I guessed right that he would get back to me.

if there is one thing I love...its positional flexibility

Santanas, Zobrists, Prados....those are my type of dudes

I thought about Altuve, but when I looked at it, 2B is actually one of the deepest positions.

And Gallo. When I passed on him, I knew Earl was going to land him. Didn't think he was going to take Sano too. I was planning to have one of those two as my first prospect... or Peterson if I whiffed on both.

I thought for sure when I went with Frazier in 4 that I missed my chance.

I almost sniped Frazier from you the pick before. It was between Chapman and he. I ended up taking Aroldis instead because I thought the elite RPs wouldn't make it back to me and, by that point, I knew my pitching strategy was to go after the best relievers since I missed out on most of the top tier of SPs. Turns out the reliever run didn't happen until a round or two later, so I could have waited a little longer on drafting my first RP.

I wish I would've snagged Correa. I'm regretting the Elvis pick but hopefully with a healthy lineup, he can score 90+ runs. I was excited about his 27 SB last year until I realized he was caught 15 times.

I'm curious how CJ Cron performs in an everyday role.

Excited about Michael Taylor.

I think I got good value for Latos as my #3 (pitching in a pitcher friendly stadium) and Cain as a potential bounce back guy. Seems like he's been around forever but still just 30.

What do Cubs fans think of Kyle Hendricks?

And of course, the value of the draft: Alex Rodriguez
