There is going to be so much fapping in this thread before pitchers and catchers even report

I wish my lineup was better but I like my pitchers. Also waited too long on some prospects.

You forgot the part that mentions he took all the power out his swing to make more contact

I'm gonna burn this place down when Bryant isn't on the opening day roster

Go on, James. Sign that long-term deal to pitch in Petco

Boo
I look at Boo's team and nothing really gets me too excited. He is solid with Pujols, Atluve, Frazier and Castro, but then he has Steve Pearce and Rasmus as starting OFs. They can hit a little but arent ideal IMO. No real MLB ace, just a bunch of SP2s and 3s. Outside of Correa and Severino, I cannot really fap to any of his MiLB guys. A lot of things need to go right for Boo to compete for a playoff spot.
Damn.
I think I did alright all things considered... a quick glance at my roster is uninspiring, but then I look at everyone else's rosters and they all have plenty of weak spots. The league is too deep to avoid it at this point. I'm going to struggle in K/9 each week, but should be competitive in everything else.
ETA: Like others said, it's going to come down to health. I can't afford to have one of my higher picks go down for a long period of time. Pujols obviously worries the most in this regard. If I can get 150+ games, close to 30 HR, and 100+ RBI like last year, that pick will work out fine.

IMHO... this one-time first draft no off-season situation, if you drafted someone who is going to start the season on the DL, you should have to wait until their team places that label on them to move them and pick up a replacement.

I have no problem with this, with the understanding that in upcoming offseasons, a player can remain on the DL during the offseason if he ended the year on the MLB DL. I don't think its fair to have a player get a serious injury in August, be out for 10 months, and not be able to fill that spot in the offseason. And we need to put in writing that minor league players aren't DL eligible.

I was leaning this way because, sure why not? won't happen again after this season.
but I'm thinking, a Brandon Mauer situation occurs during spring training. Rondo's DL player gets designated before Corbin does on my team. Let's assume for this purpose that everyone else is staying pat because they don't want to drop a player. So because Rondo has an open spot he moves before I do because his player was designated first?
I know it's unlikely that would be the case, but I'm just playing scenarios. Why should we wait on teams when that creates opportunities others won't have?

We could always make everyone wait until every MLB team has had their opening day before DL designations are allowed. And from there, put every free agent on the waiver wire to prevent a free for all. Thats not perfect either though, since waiver order will determine who gets first shot at a shitty FA.
