X-rays taken on Carlos Gonzalez's sprained left ankle came back negative.
Gonzalez sprained his ankle while running to first base on a groundball in the seventh inning of Wednesday's blowout win over the Dodgers. It looks like he avoided a serious injury. Not only did the X-rays come back negative, Gonzalez showed no signs of discomfort postgame, walking through the dugout without a limp. He homered twice on Wednesday and hopes to play against the Dodgers on Thursday.
