There is a big difference between stashing 15 year mlb vets im milb slots and someone losing eligibility while in the minors.
I don’t disagree there
But I also hear what papz is saying. Are we going to evaluate on a case by case basis? Or do we make it black and white, here’s the rule and here’s the penalty.
I personally think it should be case by case basis. That’s my $0.02

In retrospect to the rules, there is no difference.
That said, I don't think he should be penalized... just a warning. He's not the only person after me who had this infraction. It's just never brought up.

What exactly was your violation? I can't recall the specifics.

No difference in an ineligible player being in the minors, no.
Length, yes.
If I recall correctly Coco was in your minors a good while.
This was just under 2 weeks.
Now, if Gyno hadn’t said anything, how long would it have been ...

Stashing non-eligible players on the MiLB roster.
Definitely and had someone brought it to my attention, it wouldn't have happened. Remember it was the first year and all the settings weren't adjusted according. We now get an illegal lineup notification for almost all the violations.

Knowingly, right?

Yes. I thought I was operating in a gray area and was trying to manipulate my roster to my advantage.

I've reminded plenty of people over the years to fix their rosters including people currently in this conversation. I don't really care about this season. I hate Roto with a passion. The combo of that and my crazy work schedule, this probably won't be my last infraction on the year.

It tells you if youre lineup is illegal when you look at your team page. Secondly, you can set up notifications to get emailed when your lineup is illegal

Appreciate the honesty, you paid your price.
I think an intentional violation is different than a violation through inattention. That's why I agree with MWG that penalties should be case-by-case.

this is my concern
I tend to just use my phone on safari for Fantrax, and when you went to Deej's team at the top it said "roster violation." Pretty clearly and standing out.
I don't know how it is on a desktop of laptop in a browser, or what Deej tends to use for his lineups.

Missed the Campusano call up but love the bomb, I desperately needed a catcher

Damn. CWill all of a sudden running away with this thing. Less than 3 weeks to go.
