Wander Franco, who is just too young to be thrown on prospect lists at this point, but the potential is there.
In the low 90s on BA’s list. Think he’s going to be on BP’s just missed 101. But I don’t disagree with any of it. Will be shifting focus this season to younger prospects. These AAA all stars just don’t sell themselves.

I was considering adding wander after the draft as a stash. He’ll need to show some power or he’ll be just another slick fielding DR (or VZ?) SS with no pop - dime/dozen these days.

I had him on my watch list as well... but he's so far out, best case he makes an impact in 5 years.

Martin didn’t make it to high A like Rooker but had a more impressive debut considering age & penchant to take a walk. Worried about his size as far as projection but we’ll see

I'll bust out farm rankings/team capsules over the course of the day.
I wonder who will be first....

That’s why I wanted to trade into the draft to get Vientos. Young and big frame. Got sniped.
I was invested at that point and said I’ll take a chance for the cost of a dime/dozen RP.

15. MWG
Point Total: 148.71
# of Ranked Prospects: 7
17 Fernando Tatis Jr.
67 Michael Chavis
88 Carter Kieboom
119 Jhailyn Ortiz
123 Brandon Marsh
125 Colton Welker
127 Wander Javier
Our first top 50 prospect makes an appearance, with Fernando Tatis being the key piece of MWG's farm. Tatis is responsible for 57% of this farm's points, but MWG will probably flip the other six guys on this list over the course of the upcoming season and then replace them with six guys that will appear on next year's lists.

14. Chat
Point Total: 182.71
# of Ranked Prospects: 7
35 Scott Kingery
48 Kevin Maitan
53 Yadier Alvarez
83 Alex Faedo
99 Joey Wentz
129 Austin Beck
130 Dane Dunning
No elite guys on this farm, but Chat doesn't really need any given his current big league roster. Scott Kingery came out of absolutely nowhere last year when he beat up on AA pitching. His promotion to AAA resulted in him coming back down to earth quite a bit, so it'll be interesting to see how 2018 unfolds for him. Also interested to see what he will get out of Faedo this year in his first minor league action of his career.

13. Knat
Point Total: 196.57
# of Ranked Prospects: 6
1 Shohei Ohtani
54 J.P. Crawford
66 Blake Rutherford
95 Jahmai Jones
101 Bobby Bradley
144 Anthony Banda
Ohtani is obviously the key guy on this farm, and his addition in this draft class vaulted Knat up quite a few spots on the list. Other than Shohei, this farm is fairly weak. I don't feel like Crawford will make much of an impact in the fantasy world, although he did show an ability to get on base at a respectable clip during his stint in the show last year. I've always been a fan of Bobby Bradley and his power potential.

12. Earl
Point Total: 201.43
# of Ranked Prospects: 5
30 Austin Hays
50 Jorge Mateo
52 Estevan Florial
64 Jesus Sanchez
87 Keibert Ruiz
Despite having only five prospects, the ones that Earl has are strong enough to put him in the middle of the pack. Hays will get a chance to play everyday in Baltimore, and Ruiz is getting all kinds of love on sites this offseason. Earl also likes to buy in on kids before they become household names, so his selection of Vientos came as no surprise to me this year.

I'll correct. I forgot to update when you made the trade with OMT.
Posted on 2/7/18 at 11:09 am to reddman
11. OMT
Point Total: 202.43
# of Ranked Prospects: 7
18 Forrest Whitley
51 Cal Quantrill
63 Tyler O'Neill
74 Jo Adell
84 Dustin Fowler
141 Tristen Lutz
142 Isaac Paredes
Trading Honeywell weakened this farm a bit, but its still got some guys that can do some damage in a couple of years. Whitley jumped three levels last year and missed more bats the higher he went up. He's gonna be nasty. Adell was the key addition via this year's draft, and he picked up MWG's leftovers when he grabbed Lutz off the wire.

10. Lester Earl
Point Total: 209.29
# of Ranked Prospects: 8
31 Luiz Gohara
40 Ryan McMahon
47 Michael Baez
77 Stephen Gonsalves
102 Adbert Alzolay
115 Chris Shaw
122 Isan Diaz
137 Colin Moran
LE has quietly improved his farm over the last year or so, and should get some use out of a few as early as this year. Gohara and McMahon could be key factors in any kind of playoff run that LE could make this season.
