9. CQQ
Point Total: 214.86
# of Ranked Prospects: 9

43 Anthony Alford
45 Franklin Perez
57 Nick Gordon
80 Christian Arroyo
81 Carson Kelly
85 Riley Pint
104 Dominic Smith
112 Sandy Alcantara
126 JB Bukauskas

This farm ranking stems from more quantity than quality, really. There are some nice names on here, don't get me wrong, but it lacks the elite guys that you might expect on a top 10 farm. Bukauskas was a nice second round pick. I kinda thought he would go earlier than he did. Couple of his guys that are MLB ready are blocked by veterans, so it may be another year before we can really see what they can do.

8. Backbay
Point Total: 217.71
# of Ranked Prospects: 7

36 Franklin Barreto
37 Kyle Wright
39 Kyle Lewis
76 Yordan Alvarez
86 Austin Riley
117 Josh Hader
145 Cristian Pache

I think Kyle Wright is the real deal, and should be a major contributor as early as late 2019. Barreto struggled in his callup last year, so he may get another half season of seasoning in AAA before getting another shot. No heavy hitters on this farm, but it's decent enough.

Point Total: 251.29
# of Ranked Prospects: 6

4 Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
11 Brent Honeywell
58 Luis Urias
94 Danny Jansen
100 Monte Harrison
121 Jose Siri

Guerrero and Honeywell make for a nice 1-2 punch. Honeywell should have been called up last year. Not sure what that was all about. Vlad has been destroying at every level and should be ranked #1 on this list when we do this thing again next season. No draft picks this year, but I expect him to add more via trade as the soft rebuild continues.

6. Papz
Point Total: 263.57
# of Ranked Prospects: 8

2 Ronald Acuna
16 Bo Bichette
33 Juan Soto
118 Starling Heredia
120 Fernando Romero
128 Jorge Guzman
131 Edwin Rios
152 Jesus Luzardo

Papz has had a strong farm for quite awhile now. Acuna is the real prize, but Bichette and Soto are no slouches either. The rest of the guys on the list aren't huge names, but I really like Edwin Rios and Jesus Luzardo. They should both be higher, IMO.

5. CWill
Point Total: 267.00
# of Ranked Prospects: 8

15 Walker Buehler
32 Kolby Allard
44 Mike Soroka
60 Jesse Winker
78 Anderson Espinoza
107 Ryan Mountcastle
146 James Kaprielian
147 Jordan Luplow

Despite having Bellinger, Benintendi, and Devers graduate from his farm, CWill's minor league stable is still in great shape. Most of the big names are pitchers, which is what Will needs in order to take the next step in his plan to compete for ships. Some are concerned about how wild Buehler was in his callup last season, but I think he will get that figured out.

23 Hunter Greene
26 A.J. Puk
28 Willy Adames
46 Keston Hiura
72 Justus Sheffield
124 Erick Fedde
140 Nick Pratto

Barry used the draft picks he had to pick up Hunter Greene, Keston Hiura, and Nick Pratto. These additions skyrocketed his farm up these rankings. Puk is close to being in the show, and should perform well upon doing so. He will have to wait awhile on Greene, but it's gonna be worth it, IMO.

That's good because Papz dropped him this morning.

3. Deebz
Point Total: 424.29
Number of Ranked Prospects: 12

7 Brendan Rodgers
20 Luis Robert
25 Willie Calhoun
29 Alex Verdugo
49 Alec Hansen
70 Jorge Alfaro
92 Corey Ray
105 Domingo Acevedo
109 Shane Baz
113 Jose De Leon
116 Brent Rooker
148 Jeimer Candelario

Deebz practically revamped his entire farm system in this draft, making a total of six selections. Robert was the key addition, but I think Rooker could do some serious damage in a few years. Despite being ranked #7, I feel like people aren't talking about Brendan Rodgers as much as they should. Perhaps its because his AA stint at the end of last season was meh? IDK.

Thanks for the rankings Redd.

It should be noted that I gutted my farm last year as well.

1. Redd
Point Total: 966.14
# of Ranked Prospects: 15

5 Victor Robles
6 Gleyber Torres
8 Nick Senzel
9 Michael Kopech
12 Francisco Mejia
13 Alex Reyes
14 Lewis Brinson
19 Triston McKenzie
21 Mitch Keller
22 Austin Meadows
38 Brendan McKay
62 Dylan Cease
103 Heliot Ramos
136 Seth Romero
138 Peter Alonso

9 of these 15 names will probably graduate from prospect lists this year. Luckily Redd still has 15 draft picks over the next three years to continue reloading the farm. The hope is that he will get a good enough look at those 9 players this upcoming season to be able to determine if they are going to stick or not. McKay was a risky pick at 1.7, but that kind of risk can be taken given the current situation.

Guys, hold up on making transactions. When I finalized the draft, it removed dropped players from the waiver wire and made them free agents. MWG, Im gonna have to reverse that Parra pickup.
