You would have just dropped the guy next week anyway.

I'll bust out farm rankings/team capsules over the course of the day.

Overview: My composite rankings are a combination of seven prospect lists that are fantasy-based, with point values assigned. A total of 152 players made at least one list, and those are the players that are considered "ranked" prospects for this exercise. Of those 152 players, 148 are currently owned in the league with 3 of the 4 free agents bouncing in and out of the league via free agency/waivers. The last prospect was in this draft class, but was not chosen. I'm sure he will be rostered at some point in the near future. Anyway, I'll do this the same way I usually do. I'll start at the bottom of the rankings and move my way up. There will be a brief lull around 9:00 due to a meeting I have. After the farm rankings, I will work on overall team rankings again, but that may take some time.

One of the many reasons why this is the best league around! Thanks redd

20. Gyno
Point Total: 0
# of Ranked Prospects: 0
For the most part, Gyno uses his farm to stash current major leaguers that are still eligible to be placed on his farm. For a team that is considered one of the elite squads heading into this season, that strategy makes a lot of sense. Those few real prospects that he does have didn't make any lists, but most of us have heard of them. Gyno had no picks this year, so there is nothing to evaluate on that end.

Was hoping to add Martin after Acuna got MLB eligibility.

19. Boo
Point Total: 58.57
# of Ranked Prospects: 5
73 Mickey Moniak
90 Corbin Burnes
98 Yusniel Diaz
114 Pavin Smith
132 Adam Haseley
Boo added two ranked prospects (Smith, Haseley) to his roster via the draft, and then scooped up Mickey Moniak after Will cut ties with him a couple of days ago. Moniak is running out of time to show that he is actually an elite prospect, but its not a bad roll of the dice by Boo to see if he can figure it out. Boo doesn't have a true elite prospect to look forward to joining his team. Most are projected to be role-player types in the show.

Dude is only 19 and has been through one full pro season... worth the gamble, I'm surprised he was dropped, and a little surprised he went through waivers.

18. TTT
Point Total: 64.14
# of Ranked Prospects: 4
68 Jake Bauers
79 Miguel Andujar
97 Luis Ortiz
135 Brian Anderson
TTT is another owner who didn't make a draft selection this year. He has a few guys that could make impacts for him this year in Jake Bauers and the unranked Miguel Andujar and Dillon Peters. Triple T's major league roster is pretty young as it is, so his weak farm isn't a huge concern moving forward. This team only has a 2nd round pick in 2019, so any significant additions to his farm will need to be done via trade or on the wire.

17. RDR
Point Total: 121.00
# of Prospects: 6
59 Chance Adams
65 Ian Anderson
71 Jon Duplantier
93 Zack Collins
111 Max Fried
134 A.J. Minter
RDR made three draft picks this year, and even though none of them made the list, two of them (Pearson, Downs) have the potential to make significant impacts if they live up to their potential. Pearson is fricking huge and throws some nasty shite. I'd be really surprised if he wasn't in the top 75 on this list next year at this time. As for the rest of his farm, RDR doesn't have any really sexy names that stand out, but I've had my eye on Duplantier for a bit now. I'm looking forward to seeing if he can build upon his fantastic first full minor league season last year.

16. Swamie
Point Total: 135
# of Prospects: 8
55 Taylor Trammell
61 Matt Manning
82 Harrison Bader
89 Tyler Mahle
91 Christin Stewart
96 Brandon Woodruff
139 Brett Phillips
150 Matt Thaiss
Swamie has quite a number of guys that made the list, and while none of them are in the Top 50, a majority of them will get their chance to contribute to major league teams this upcoming season. Tyler Mahle's stock as skyrocketed over the course of the past year, and he will get every opportunity to stick in that young Cincinnati rotation. Swamie's only pick this year was Wander Franco, who is just too young to be thrown on prospect lists at this point, but the potential is there.
