Had several offers and sent a couple proposals. Once my last proposal was rejected (with no counter - the horror) I picked. This whole exchange has been a little bizarre.

My three targets heading into this draft were Hiura, Ramos, and Romero.

I got two of three and could have taken Hiura to make it a clean sweep. After a few beers, Im kinda kicking myself for not selecting him and sticking to the plan. I won't lose sleep over it though. I'm in a position to take some risks at this point.

Two reasons:

1. I got nervous about Hiura getting moved to OF when I already have a shitload of stud OF options in the future.
2. McKay in a best case scenario gives me a 1B option for the future, and if he doesn't stick at 1B, he should be a serviceable pitcher, and good pitching is valuable as shite in this league.

To be fair, Happ's future is completely unknown too. As much as I love him in the Cubs lineup, I wouldn't be mad if he got sent to a team as a permanent 2B.
