I can semi buy that view. But he has 22 homers in 84 games this season. Nothing wrong with a 30+ homer pace from a 19 year old

Man, I feel a little lucky to hit the min inn today. I had 2 RPs go on the dL with 2 inn to go. Intended, this morning, to replace and maybe add an sp just to be sure. Before I could get to my laptop my yard man passed out in the front yard and I had to tend to him, call his family and by the time it was resolved forgot about the pitching situation. Yard man made it, too.

I’ll take the .400/.500 25 year old who has proved it, just less risk there, and the reward doesn’t surpass what Harper is

Yea but his pace in A-AA hasn’t been carried over. Not diminishing how he is crushing the show but you can’t say he is pacing 30hr with that criteria

Good thing. Could you imagine not hitting the limit because you didn’t spare 60 seconds to stream Brett Anderson?

What was the diagnosis?

Dunno. He said he didn’t eat breakfast, was light headed then passed out. Dude is Salvadoran works two jobs during the week and does yard work on the weekends. I would guess the culprit is lack of sleep and a bad diet.

8 homers in 149 at-bats this season

HR total to 600 at-bats extrapolated would be over 30, no? Although he is probably due for regression in HR/FB percentage (jump in here, Swam).

See that’s the thing. I think Soto does that this year. At age 19.

Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be able to flip him for two first round picks and a closer.

Eta: cocksucker.

He hasn’t had a HR/FB% less than 20% some 440 AB ago in A ball.

His 97 mph EV on his FB/LD balls is 17th overall.

Only issue I see is he doesn’t seem to hit that many FB. He would have to be a monster to crank 30 at his current average launch angle which is less than 7 degrees. Only two i see from last year that put up some good HR numbers are Pham and Bour.

Or he could just join the fly ball revolution and be exactly what you imagine.

Brantley doesn’t have the plate discipline or power.

Bernie is a good one but with more power. Bernie, and the 2017 versions of Pham (less speed more power) and Springer. I’m pretty sure Springer has a low launch angle too (9.7 degrees not quite Soto’s 6.something)

Aguilar
Muncy
Trea Turner
Belt
Carpenter

That’s one hell of a final vote ballot.

Proud to say I haven’t watched one second of an ASG since Cal’s final one in Seattle

That’s about the same time Rondo stopped watching baseball altogether
