Barry has such a top heavy team. Not a deal I would have done but props for going for it. Easy to say but the meat of his team needs beefing up. A return of +3-4 players would have really benefited him

I literally made the Kershaw deal awhile back thinking I could land Bryant with him. Only took me a couple months.

I filled 1B need and and feel like can fill a gap of 2 players through FA and trade. Much easier than I can fill a Top 5 SP.

Did you consider advertising Bryant as available? He's a pretty big chip and couldve possibly gotten you into a Cole Sale Degrom etc younger stud

This will be Kershaw's 3rd straight year not topping 200 IP along w/ a nagging back that doesnt seem to be going away.

I’ve seriously been going after him for two months, giraffe. Like at least once a week I would bring it up in IM.

Good for you. Suarez wouldve been a nice return for Kershaw imo. I would not have dealt Ramirez or Bryant for him

Yap. Definitely question marks.

But all it takes is one team.

Dude, no one is trading a kershaw for a Suarez. I barely got top 30 SP offers.

Yea a little concerned about his back, but I think he's still got a lot left in the tank.

Finding someone to trade an ace, even for a Byant isn't very easy.

I’m not done dealing for those IRT. If Springer wasn’t in a massive slump, I’d be dangling him out there in the hopes of getting two players back. I’ll watt though.

meh, dont think Red was going to recoop value on Kershaw after that Cole deal. He was either gonna have to hold for the backend of the career or take a guy like suarez

just think bryant is reserved for a guy with more miles left. i thought he was untouchable tbh

i see what you're saying, i just think your staff is more than a Kershaw away. especially at the expense of bryant. I share the same concerns about his long term health as some of these other baws.

for instance i would have given you Carpenter, Gattis, and any 2 SP's on my roster for Bryant. Now whether you would have liked that or not on paper is one thing. But for sure you would have came out better if you're looking to make a run and add sheer numbers.

Can't imagine being an NBA fan and knowing who will win the 2019 title a year in advance. How can anyone get excited about that?

Yea it's pretty stupid. This may turn out to be an all time boneheaded play by Cousins camp

I disagree on my staff being more than a Kershaw away. I’m not trying to win IP or QS every week.
