Man, Gohara hasn't missed a meal. Does TV really add 10 pounds?

Mac back in action rehabbing down at AAA. Homered. Water is wet.
Williamson has played 17 games between AAA/MLB, and has 10 homers.

I know right
Managed to stay afloat without his big bat. Hopefully we get him back soon

Hey commish, what’s the rules again for IP requirement when you have 3 starts PPD’d?
The same as if you have 3 starters go down with injuries.

I’m not trying to relitigate IP again or plead a new case but you realize those aren’t the same set of circumstances right?
Posted on 5/19/18 at 10:52 am to swamie
It’s a situation beyond the control of the manager where you lose projected IP, it sucks but we just have to deal with it.

Dealt with it when I accepted Lester’s example as precedent.
An injured pitcher however is a definite loss of IP for the week.
If they pull a DeGrom and get pulled after 1, you get credit. Even a Woodruff pulling his hamstring during warmups got a GS I believe.
Otherwise an injured pitcher is an expected loss.
There isn’t a report saying MadBum will pitch tomorrow. Correction, he’ll pitch Thursday. Scratch that, expect him to pitch tomorrow now...probably.
Yes it sucks. And you can’t give credit for a start that never happened.
I’m only holding you to a higher standard as a commissioner so we’re not justifying rules based on flawed logic.

It’s not flawed logic, I’m talking injured started not making starts. If you are uncertain then plan accordingly or take a risk and don’t spot start someone.
Injured guys are also sometimes game day decisions or there is uncertainty about their next start.
Thanks for holding me to a higher standard
Also you say you can’t give a guy credit for a start that never happened so what’s the issue

And he's not in the lineup today. It's like buying a new car and letting it sit in the driveway for a few days before driving it.

Alex Reyes three rehab starts so far:
16 IP
0.00 ERA
0.75 WHIP
17.44 K/9
Last night in AA he struck out 13 in 7.2 IP with one hit allowed.

Are the Cards going to use him in the bullpen or rotation?
Posted on 5/20/18 at 3:00 pm to Chatagnier
Haven’t officially said, but if he’s already going 7.2 IP in starts, he seems rotation ready. They may use him in the pen to limit the innings though.

I bet a possible category tie that he would get a QS the way he was dealing.
