Cron went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Twins on Sunday.

Analysis:Cron completed a weekend decimation of Twins pitching with his third round tripper over the last two games, blasting a first-inning Phil Hughes offering into left center to give the Rays an early 2-0 lead. The 28-year-old accumulated nearly half of his 13 RBI on these season over the last pair of outings, as he also drove in four runs on the strength of two homers Saturday. Following a slow start to his Rays career over the first three games of the season, Cron has come alive in April and has five two-hit tallies over the last six contests.

9th in the season stats, 18th in the standings. These last two weeks have been some brutal matchups.

Don't know why you benched all your SPs yesterday Gyno, but thanks for the game in the standings.

Bc I didn’t think you were streaming when I checked before the first wave of games and couldn’t check all day to see if you were going to add Jeremy hellickson

I’m trying to refrain from streaming talk this year so I will leave it at that. Won’t be the last time an opposing teams shite pitching beats me on a Sunday IP stream

Well I certainly wouldn't have if you had pitched any of your guys that were starting. When I saw that you benched them all and that I could make a play for IP... I'm going to do that every week if I have a move available.

Just surprised you benched them all with IP close and the ratios firmly in hand.

He didn't beat you, you beat yourself. You could have left your guys in with less than 1% chance of losing your rate stats.

B, I admitted to making a dumb assumption

I did not think he was making a move to stream considering he was active around 10 am and we were gonna let RP decide IP. I pulled severino and that was that. I do not leave anything to chance considering I had a RP give up 6 ER in .1 of an IP earlier in the week and the pitchers I wouldve thrown were facing teams swinging it well.

All and all I was comfortable enough not to concern myself with worst case scenario of him adding Hellickson late and was fine w/ a 9-3 dragging knowing it shouldve been 10-2. So sure I beat myself

It was a fortunate scenario for me that there was a starter available in the night game and I had a corresponding expendable player to drop.

I could have waited longer until I saw more of what our RPs did, but I didn't want anyone else to beat me to him.
