KC seems to have a recent history of top prospects that end up being OK...the latest being Hosmer and Moustakas and previously Butler and Gordon.

That park suppresses HRs pretty badly. Especially left handers.

Combined with the fact that their AAA team is in the PCL, you saw some pretty harsh come back to reality power numbers.

Well the good news is that he's out of options, so they are forced to either keep him or cut/trade him.

While their AAA team is in the PCL, which does come with some friendly ball parks and environments, most Tiger fans are well aware of the park factors associated with Omaha.

ETA: Noted that the KC prospects from five or six years ago may have been in a different type of ballpark. The real launching pads in the PCL are found in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada.
