It was brought up during the initial startup of the league, but some of the owners were opposed to it. Don't remember the reasoning behind the opposition though.

I was waiting to see who would hit the softball I threw out there and round the bases like they were Joe Carter hitting a walk off.

Say I'm playing you and your pitching bombs and you start adding pitchers throughout the week to try and win stats

With a weekly system, you're forced to use your actual team and "dance with who brought ya". On a Monday you could add drop and make sure you have your innings and what not.

It'll also give everyone a chance at hot FA adds and not a quick draw Mcgraw

ok i was thinking you were saying you wanted a fair shot at players but i couldnt see how that matched up. I see what you are saying

ETA: i dont like it simply for the fact that if i want a prospect or a player im suspecting of taking off, I want to add them ASAP

I'd like to see the MiLB eligibility inning limited lowered to 100. Something else that should be brought up in the offseason.

That suggestion was added to the list a few months ago. See OP.

The AB threshold is very high too, may as well add it if you're doing IP

I was all about FAAB, but I would prefer that waivers run 2 or 3 times per week.
