i was looking at Mikie Mahtook earlier. He hasnt walked in his last 90 ABs or something ridiculous

Sat next to James Mouton (former Astro for my Astrotards out there) for a game during Mahtook's final year at LSU. Mouton was a scout for Diamondbacks.

He was telling me how much he loved Mikie, I wasn't the biggest of fans (as far as MLB potential).

Then I asked him why the hell his organization would ever trade Max Scherzer.

Said sometimes guys just aren't a fit for an organization.

I went to the bathroom and never came back.

Bregs just hasn't been that good so far this season.

At some point I feel like the Astros are going to need to move on from Beltran as an every day DH. Maybe they can experiment with Marwin as the leadoff guy against righties and leave Springer there against lefties.

Or, even though it defies convention, Reddick against lefties, where he actually has a higher BA and OBP this season, although a lot lower SLG.

I really didn't want to give him an ace, but he was the only owner who could help.

I don't see it as clear cut, but as long as papz has those bats I like him, gyno, chat and roll.
