I think I left about 2-3 wins on the table through the season on things I could have done different from what I can recall.
I was going to add up what opponents hit vs. the playoff teams, but one quick thing I saw was that the league average was around a 28/8/28/2 line and my opponents were hitting around 32/10/32/4.

12 weeks in to the season, you have
21% of your Runs in two matchups
28% of your HR in two matchups
27% of your RBI in two matchups
You have a few 4, 5 HR type of weeks sprinkled in there. We may be dealing w a consistency issue here

well it answers the swamie riddle somewhat. though he has played a tough schedule as far as hitting teams go. i didnt crunch everyones numbers but from the naked eye Papz, you, chat, and a few other good hitting teams dont have as many peaks and valleys
even still, you dont get a real rest on offense in this league, even bad teams can put up numbers in a hurry

You didn't solve what I haven't already complained about. I know my guys are inconsistent. They play up when my opponent does and down the same. I also know there's a lot of good bats in the league. Barry won't be easy even though he's going for a top 3 pick.
