No point in sandbagging. You miss the IP requirement you lose all pitching cats.

By sandbagging I mean just take the hit for not reaching it
ETA:
If a minimum has not been met by end of scoring period: The team will get a loss for each averaged hitting (e.g. Avg, Slg, etc.) or pitching stat (e.g. ERA, WHIP, etc.), depending on the scoring category whose minimum has not been met, for the scoring period.
Also...I was under the impression that 6 starts negates the need for 35 IP....is that not correct?

there seems to be a discrepancy in the rules.
I seem to recall someone just losing the % cats in previous infractions.

Pretty sure every time this has happened they lost all 6 pitching categories, but it has to be done manually, as it also would need to be overridden if you get 6 starts but not 35 IP.

Yeah, that's just the fantrax setting, it also mentions hitting ratios. Our league rules take precedence.
