The Daniel Norris hype train is underway 
he fanned 9.2 batters per nine, walked just 2.9 per nine and carried an ERA of 3.38. He also picked up the pace considerably in 56.1 second-half innings, posting a 3.04 ERA with increases in ground-ball rate (up to 40.2 percent) and in home run rate (1.3 for the season, but just 1.1 after the break).
Time to break out

Ausmus hasn't given norris or boyd a definite spot in the rotation, he's gonna trot anibal sanchez back out there

a $20M salary probably keeps Sanchez in over Boyd. Norris definitely has a spot, unless something drastic happens in ST.

There's no doubt some baseball people are, well, sometimes stupid. A lot of cases.
I could see Anibal or Pelfrey in the rotation because they're "experienced" over more talented, more productive pitchers like Norris.
But I think equally they'll think an all right-handed rotation would be a detriment.
I think Norris starts the year in the rotation. Pelfrey bullpen, and Boyd in Toledo

I like Norris
Just thought it was funny ausmus wouldn't commit to either on the young guys over turds like Sanchez and pelfrey. Norris and Boyd were very good post ASB
