Only a couple teams were competing with our staff down the stretch last year. We only lost Grienke from that staff.
We got out hit down the stretch that cost us the top seed and playoff wins.
ETA- And doesn't matter how many horses you have in the bullpen, any fig can win IP and QS on you.

i aint saying its gangbusters, just sayin on a good week he may be able to win steals and runs, hr if his team goes off. it'll be competitive sometimes

Pitching is still very good. We think Grienke's name ups his value. We have as much pieces as anyone if we feel the need to add pitching. We love the squad right now though.

Not saying pitching isnt good, and i dont even like Greinke. But now you're in a class with the other good pitching teams.
Greinke as a 4/5SP 200 inning eater is a pretty valuable piece as a swiss army knife guy where you can pick and chose when he throws (road games, good matchups etc). Can throw him on a Sat to make a late push in cats, stuff like that. Ya dont have that advantage anymore

I know I have a weak farm but come on. Still holding out hope for Reed, high hopes for Smith, interested to see how Stephenson bounces back. It's not THAT bad.
