I'm all for it Port. I hate losing to the top scorer when I'm second highest. I also hate losing to a team early in the year, then later in the year, you play him with his top few guys hurt. I also hate when an owner stops caring at the end and whoever plays him gets an auto-win, sometimes with a playoff spot in the balance.

This system eliminates all of those issues without really creating other ones.

The only real argument against is those people who say they like head to head because it more closely simulates real football. My answer to that is that this is called FANTASY football for a reason.

See I think there is more banter this way. It's been like that in TDFL anyway. Halfway through the year when teams begin to suck and lose interest, you have lost your banter.

I don't want to feel like I am twisting anyone's arm but to me it there is no comparison which is better. I'd love for 2 wins coming down to me, you, drew, and J for example. Talk about banter.

Yeah and it still has a head to head feel.

In this format you get to banter with everyone every week.

I like banter also, but it's only fun if your opponent participates, which most don't. Playing the entire league each week, you'll always find someone to jaw with.

With that said; passing touchdown points has already been changed since I've joined, not too enthusiastic about another aspect of the league changing after the fact I joined.

yeah I'm in this boat. So far we've changed the passing TDs, moved up to the date of the draft (yes it was), and now completely changing formats? Eh....its not like we've made minor tweaks, these were all pretty drastic changes

These are very premature, obviously, with only 1 preseason game in the books. But let's take a look at the league as a whole.

1. Mr Wise Guy- he came out of the draft with arguably, two WR1(Thomas/Wayne) & two RB1 (Martin/Ridley), as well as a TE1 in Witten. That's damn solid. He landed Kaep as his QB, who I really like because of his running ability. I like 3-4 of his bench guys, but the rest are so-so. But as of now I think he is at the top.

2. Gyno- I like what he did landing big name guys like Ray Rice, Fitz and MJD. Amendola should be productive if he stays healthy, and I think Matt Ryan may be poised to take the next step. He also has nice depth on his bench, esp at the WR position.

3. Loose Cannon- His team will hinge on how Eddie Lacy plays, & if McFadden stays healthy. But I love the Foster/Marshall combo, & I really like Bowe this year in Andy Reid's system. Eric Decker is a very solid FLEX play. He has 2 solid QBS in Russell Wilson & Luck.

4. Port- Man, that Brady pick was huge, even if he doesn't quite put up the numbers he did last year. That system seems to fuel fantasy points. Adrian Peterson & Julio jones join Brady to make a pretty lethal top 3. If Hakeem Nicks & Ryan Matthews stay healthy, this team is no1. I just don't buy that right now.

5. DCJBR- Im not huge on QB/WR combo's from the same team, but I think Peyton and Wes Welker will work out just fine. Im wondering if Welker will see a down-tick in production though, with a loaded WR corps out there. James Jones looks to have the inside track on a big year with jordy nelson banged up already, and Darren Sproles is one of my favorite PPR players out there. And i think overall, he may have the most upside on his bench than any team.

6. Lester Earl- I wanted to rank myself higher, but I just couldnt with my RBs. Though I believe in them, it wouldnt be realistic on paper. Im not adding it up, but I think I may have the highest scoring duo from last year in Brees/Megatron; and I dont really see that changing this year, barring injuries. . Roddy White, always solid, and I think David Wilson has huge upside & explosive ness. I think the key will be Deangelo Williams and if Stewart remains banged up. If that is the case, I have a very solid RB2 there.

7. Drew orleans- I really like the duo of Randall Cobb & Torrey Smith this year, I think he is on to something there. Ive always been a huge CAm Newton guy in FFB. Plus I think he may have two RB1's. I really like SJax this year. I have him 7th just because of the uncertainty of the WR, but they have the chance to be really good this year.

8. BigJ- it really sucks about Nelson, but if he can get back on week 1 and play like he usually does, that would be huge, obviously. Victor Cruz is a WR1, and I like both of his RBs this year, Reggie Bush and Spiller. Prob the best pass catching duo at RB on any team. He also nabbed Mike Wallace at great value. Tannehill likes to throw it dow the field. The reason I have him 8th and not 4th or 5th is Nelson's uncertainty, and i dont really like Big Ben this year. I also think this team has the 2nd best bench, as of now.

9. CE- the Stafford, Graham & VJax trio should pace this team. i dont really dig his RBs right now, but they do have upside...if you get Forte, you really need to land Bush. Lamar Miller is a questionmark. Miles Austin may be due a comeback, we'll see about him.

10. BHam- I like some of his guys, but too many questions marks at this point in time, starting with Gronk. How many weeks will he get out of him? What will Le'Von Bell be? Will he even start? Will Demarco Murray stay healthy? WHat I like: Romo is an underrated QB. McCoy should bounce back, and Dez Bryant has the makings of a top 5 WR.

11. Dro- I really like AAron Rodgers, Richardson, and AJ80. But after I am not to sure. Colston is consistent(end of season numbers), but seems to be off and on week to week. Not sure about Chris Ivory yet. Vernon Davis is kind of an enigma coming off last year.

12. Tots- He's my 12th team, but still solid... I guess they all seem solid at this point, but someone has to be last. Jammal Charles & AJ Green are bona fide studs, but after them, he is kind of meh, imo. Had he landed a good QB, I would have him higher. Stevie Johnson, & Garcon are good complimentary guys...but at this point he is needing them to win games. If he had a QB to pick up the slack, he'd be money. I did love the Montee Ball pick; potential Rb1 borderline 2, imo. I think with Frnak Gore, this is finally the year another RB starts to eat into his carries. Cecil Shorts is intriguing.

I get the passing TD thing. I don't get how you can be against making the format better. We will keep it as is.

There will be plenty of people crying about the schedule mid season though. Guaranteed.

there is definitely, 100% more banter the TDFL way when you are playing against everyone. And the drama is much thicker as the games countdown to see if you are going to make that cut.

BUT......I can see where the other guys are coming from. It's tough to vote for a change when you really don't know what you are getting into.(even though it wont be harmful)

Light Bulb...

Lets split the pay outs and do both. Keep the H2H and also do top 6 bottom 6.

its the big league some of us play in that uses the system where the top 6 scorers from each week get a win, and the bottom 6 get a loss.

some nice write ups le.

my backs are iffy and I'd be worried had I not landed drich . forte will be a top guy in ppr. I have faith in miller to perform like a rb#2. my flex will be a head scratcher each week since I feel I have several guys capable of a 10-14 pt week there.

can't wait to get a full year against you guys without seeing the likes of donald brown, dhb, and stevie Johnson on my roster!

When I grabbed Bush I thought for sure you would take him right before me. I almost passed on him to see if he would make it back but figured he wouldn't.

That would be a bigger change. I'd say either we go with the better standings format or leave it as it. I have TDFL so I at least have one league like that. Just thought y'all would enjoy it more this way and it wouldn't affect the way anyone drafted since this isn't a keeper league.
