Port I've been doing crossfit for 2.5 months now. I like it. I've dropped some weight from about 220 to about 213 right now. Not a huge loss but I'm toning up and adding muscle.

Hell yeah. I bet you have way more energy too.
Ever done the one called fight gone bad? It's so hard.....the first time I did it I had worked heavy shoulders already and my bro in law, a fireman, comes up to the gym as I am about to leave. We had talked about cross fit before so he asked if I would try this one out and that it was a 15 minute work out, so I did.
After I was done I went to the locker room and laid on a bench for 5 minutes with my head spinning. Keep in mind I have worked out since HS. I thought I was going to die.
Later on though, about an hour later, I felt better than I had after any workout even to this day. I had so much energy. It was a beast of a workout.

Yea I've done that one. You basically do each exercise for a minute. By the 3rd round I wanted to barf.

The wall balls & thrusters definitely kill the shoulders for me. But I've prob seen the most improvement in my physique in the shoulders & my back. So I can't complain.
I just go in there and do whatever it says.
