Just started 12 team league. It's a mix of veteran FF and newbies. Look for a payout system that will keep everyone interested, ie incentives for non playoff teams, etc. any ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance! Buy in will be either 50$ or 100$/team

Consolation playoffs to win back buy-in. Make last place team buy beer or food for next year's draft.

$10 dollar weekly high point pay out

Non playoff teams have a losers bracket playoff to choose next years draft position.

We make the loser buy food for next years draft. Works pretty well.

Also, not setting your lineup is cause for expulsion from the league. That helps too.

I play in a 12 team league with a $65 entry. We pay out $10 per week for the high week for the first 12 weeks. Then we pay out $60 for the overall high score. Then we pay out 150, 100, 50 for regular season and playoffs 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

In our league we do $100 buy-in and do the payouts as follows....

12 Teams ($1,200 Purse)
6 Teams make playoffs & do a 6 Team Loser's Bracket

Champion: $700
Runner-up: $300

Reg. Season Point Leader: $100

Winner of Loser's Bracket: $100

It works pretty well at keeping everyone interested, since even if you suck in the regular season you still have a shot to win your money back by winning the losers bracket.
