Vetoing a trade is complete bullshite unless collusion so I agree with you

last thing Ill say about it

he said that he veto'd it , because he decided he wanted league vote this year, so to re-offer the trade, and "IF" the guy accepts again, and "if" it doesn't get voted against by the league, then I can have Rice.

but he did add:

"you know it will get blasted out of the sky. AJ already hurt and murray is just the latest flash in the pan. Throw Djax out and it's still not fair. Why throw away rice for that? You know he's stupid for doing that."

However, "he" won the league 3 years ago.

I don't plan to keep bringing other league stuff here, it's just a window into my world of being the Hated, Bad guy....while it's everyone else colluding, doing shady shite like organized veto's, "Do Not Trade Kash Pacts", etc, etc, etc.

It's kinda like Iran and the US. Iran hasn't done anything to the US, they were no apart of Al Queda , the Taliban, or any other Wahabi/Sunni Muslim terrorist group.....the MOST anyone can say that Iran did, was say "the zionist regime must be wiped from the map"

Otherwise they only have stated that they want Nuclear Power(actual Power, not Nukes)....but the US has sanctioned Iran, assassinated civilians, in country Covert-ops, electronic terrorism, etc,etc

and other KNOWN international crimes, but do not get sanctioned or otherwise punished because of the group(europe) and possessing their own Power of Veto in the UN.

So, as a 3rd party, with the Team names removed....what happened was shite. But if you see Kash, some people turn a blind eye to justice.

This is what being in a league with holier than thou rednecks is like. "Justifiably shady"

turbin for jennings

MJD hasn't really ever missed a game, Lynch has never gone a full 16

While Holdouts have historically been shite, was their back-up ever any good?
ie When CJ2K was shite, was Ringer Startable?
When SJax held out....how many times did you start Brian Leonard to capitalize on his 86 carries for 303 yards(3.5ypc)?

not that I think Jennings is better, I just want Rondo to see him on my team.

dont lump us in with your other league. I agree, that trade should not have been vetoed. But the thing is, it probably would have never been accepted by anyone in this league.

No one is going to collude against you in this league. You are the one talking about adding and dropping defenses so others cant pick them up. And picking up D.Graham and trying to pretend he is Jimmy Graham. So yea, if your fellow league mates are calling you shady, i would agree with them.

Yea- if he pulls the shite he does with our league with the amateur league, I'd veto every one of his trades if I was them, just to get back at his shady practices.

yes, in plain view after telling the person "no there's other things that are shadier that can be done......hey you want Gronk for jennings?"

but truly I had never really thought about it

historically, if you could go back in time, which Back-up of a Hold-out do you wish you could have grabbed?

Which back-up to a holdout produced and was considered the STEAL of the draft?

If you are trying to convince me to take Turbin with that question, you just proved otherwise. After week 1, neither Turbin nor Jennings will be startable (Jennings will be in week 1, then most likely split carries for week 2, until MJD gets acclimated). However IF a starter were to go down, I'd rather own the RB who has the talent to step in and be a top 15-20RB. Turbin does not fall into that category. Outside of Ben Tate and Michael Bush, I'd say Jennings the the most talented backup RB on any roster.

I think they will allow MJD to run more than a few plays week 1. I believe that "jennings starting" was a motivational tool....but i have no proof.

I disagree, but I'm not going to convince you.

Offers off the table

But did you see turbin?

quote:

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is "so happy" with rookie RB Robert Turbin.
"He's a really good football player," Carroll said after Turbin rushed for 93 yards on 14 carries against the Chiefs Friday. "I'm so happy with the draft pick. We went out to get a guy who could complement Marshawn (Lynch) and could give us good, hard-nosed running, and he's shown exactly that." Lynch carried a bruising load last season, and could cede a handful of carries per game to a player who has put a stranglehold on No. 2 duties.

quote:

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll assured reporters Wednesday that Marshawn Lynch will be "fine" despite his recent back flare-up.
"He took a really good turn this week, rehab has been effective," said Carroll. "We think he is going to be fine."

Why do you what Jennings over Turbin then? See its a huge fricking circle that you just cannot explain. Don't give me the 'he's easier to flip' bullshite b/c now that MJD has reported, he can't be traded.

So enlighten me.

it's a gamble. i don't have inside information knowing that MJD will get hurt week 3 and Lynch will go a full 16 for the first time in his career.

It's just a move for move's sake.

It's like switching from 16 black to 23 red in roulette....no one knows WTF is going to happen.

You have lynch, i don't. You love every single one for your players and hold them a tier or 2 higher than anyone elses players.

Jennings just gives me something to hang over rondo in my daily trade offers. nothing more, nothing less.

Then I'll save you the trouble, and rondo the headache, and hold onto Jennings.

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey says he was impressed by Maurice Jones-Drew's physical condition after he reported Sunday, and the team will work to get him involved in the offense as soon as possible.
"I can tell he’s ready to go, so we’ll be working with him to get him up to speed as quickly as possible," Mularkey said. We suspect Jones-Drew will be active for the Jaguars' opener
