League settings:

H2H Points Keeper League (Year 1)
Auction Style - $260 budget
2 Keepers (1 pitcher x 1 hitter)

2nd place team gets: Fernando Tatis + Wade Miley (Not re-signing either)

7th place team gets: Wander Franco (2022 $13/2023 $18)

One manager is upset because 2nd place team picked up Wander mid-season and is going to flip him for Tatis and wants to quit the league because of this.

Is this a fair trade in a keeper league?

Up = Yes
Down = No

Totally fair since Tatis won’t be resigned.

Maybe the owner should be mad he didn’t pick up Wander when anyone could have.

How was wander available in a keeper league

I mean it’s fair by the letter of the law, but if Franco, as a prospect, had the value to get Tatis in a trade, he wouldn’t be available mid season.

Your league just can’t just all of a sudden value prospects to the tune of no 1 player overall, D.

For this, I would be out in this league, too.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Just because a guy was a midseason pick up doesn't make his stats count any less.

We have a short bench of only 5 players and people like to stream pitchers, so you can’t really afford to stash an inactive player on your bench. He was actually picked up a few weeks before then dropped when he was first rumored to be coming up.

He’s been terrible though

He’s the no1 prospect in baseball. He should have value especially in a keeper league. But if he’s not even rostered, that’s a shite trade in terms of value. It also means that every other top prospect in likely a free agent.

Is it a good trade? No. Is it a "fair" trade? Sure.

The other manager can be upset about it, but quitting the league over it is weaksauce.

Where is the upset manager in the standings?Sounds like he is in competition with the 2nd place guy who just landed Tatis.
Either way, he’s throwing a bitch fit. It’s a completely legit trade though. Maybe he should have thought of it first
