12 team PPR with yardage bonuses.

I just gave away Brees and Landry for Luck and Funchess.

I do have several other options assuming Funchess doesn't work out, I took him solely on potential.

Giving away Landry didn't really kill me because of my depth.

My roster now is:
QB: Luck
WR: DT
WR: Cobb
RB: Spiller
RB: Joique
FLEX: I'll now have a weekly choice at this position between Funchess, Agholor, Wheaton, Mason, Andre Williams, and Kevin White (if he returns midseason)

Would you have made the move?

would rather Brees and Landry. Landry is gonna shite all over Funchess in PPR.

That's the kind of trades that win leagues

Good trade imo. I think Agholor will be your flex play most weeks and should be good for double digits in PPR. I like him a lot as the season goes on.

Algholor, Wheaton, Williams all have good enough potential to justify the upgrade for Luck. Who IMO will be top point scorer this year. Funchess is langinappe in this trade.

While I don't completely disagree... If Cam throws 25 TDs this year, who the F gonna catch em?

We said the same when Steve Smith and Lafell left.. Kelvin Benjamin arrived. Now that KB gone, Funchess could actually be very good.

his average TD per season is 20 and has been in teens twice (18, 19), so its not far fetched that he is in the teens again.

Funchess will flash at times im sure, but Landry is going to steady eat. 90-100 catches isnt out of the question.

No you're right, but the main objective was to upgrade Brees to Luck. One QB is trending upwards and one is trending downwards. You'll have a tough time picking your weekly flex play. You could be in worse shape.

just hate depending on rookie WRs, and there are 2 guys there in funchess and agohlor.

not every rookie WR class is like last year. Which was one of the best ever.

i love Luck this year. Just not sure he is that much better than Brees(in a potential high volume pass catcher like Landry)

But isn't there a demand for athletic WRs in NFL offenses? I'm banking on talent trumping minimal experience, as it has in the recent past.

Dude has DT88 and RC18... I think he can find good enough flex play to survive. His other 2 recievers are beasts.

that's a pretty weak bench. And Spiller is already going to miss 2 games.

I wish I drafted with mentally handicapped people like you did in your league.

Hold up now... I wouldn't call Funchess, Agholor, Wheaton, Mason, Andre Williams, and Kevin White a "weak" bench. These are guys that will ONLY play in bye weeks and potentially make it into my starting rotation.

im just being honest. It's weak, and it doesnt hurt that either of your starting RBs have practiced yet.

CJ Spiller- will miss 2 games
Joique- has yet to practice, Abdullah and Zenner on his heels
Kevin White- out 6 weeks, might not even play this season.
Wheaton- sucked last year
Mason- i like him, but crowded backfield
Andre Williams- meh

then the 2 rookie WRs. Have upside but nothing you can depend on at this point.

then 2 rookie WRs.

it looks like a bench in a 14tm league.

I wouldn't even waste a roster so on Kevin White.

What about this bench? Trying to prove a point to a friend, I'd appreciate your input.

Michael Floyd
Devanta Freeman
Zach Ertz
Devante Parker
Jerrick McKinnon
Fred Jackson

if 12 team, i like it better then the OP's.

i dont mind the WRs if there are already 3 in your starting lineup. But if one of those guys is the 3rd WR id be a little worried.

without seeing the starters or scoring id say its about average. pretty safe.

Spiller- I don't know where you're getting this "will miss 2 games" stuff from.
Joique- Has been a solid PPR back for a couple years now, and has the most experience out of that committee.
White- Fantasy playoff potential
Wheaton- Poised for a breakout year in a high volume offense
Mason- Probably a bust, barring a likely Gurley setback
Agholor- #2 target in Chip Kelly's offense
Funchess- Fits Benjamin's role almost ideally, with minimal competition.
