Bovada would have to apply and get the background checks which takes months.

The problem is the state police are doing the same background checks as it would if you owned a casino and applied for a license. They do not understand that this is player vs player

That's been the holdup. The Gaming Board is doing so many useless background checks on people associated with Draftkings it's causing the delay. Auditors and accountants who aren't even affiliated with DraftKings are being told to give them info.

You mean they're close to pulling their application and not being available in Louisiana?

Leave it to Louisiana to finally pass legislation legalizing DFS, only to have that piece of legislation be so shitty that nobody in the state can actually play DFS.

The vote for DK license will be middle July. We WILL be playing Draftkings by August 1. No word on FanDuel. The vote is July 15th for DK and will be approved.

The 28th I believe was a deadline for FanDuel to be in this vote. They will not be word is.

Ronnie Johns will be the next Gaming Board Commissoner but he needs to be involved in the veto override sessions so that will delay his appointment for a month. This means everything outside of maybe DraftKings could be delayed.

Vote is thursday, right? And we are under the impression that if vote passes, we will be live right away?
