Does ESPN reseed?

Does ESPN reseed for the playoffs?
We have six in the playoffs. The six seed beat the three seed this week. I assumed they would automatically reseed since all four playoff spots for next week on the playoff bracket say TBD.
Earlier this week, I asked all the playoff teams (as commish) if I could manually reseed. Not everyone agreed, so I will be creating a league constitution for next year to automatically reseed.

Not automatically, but like you said - you can manually do it. As it stands, 6 would play 2 in the semis.

I am the commish and top seed. Not everyone would agree to reseeding. It would look shady since not everyone agreed when I asked on Tuesday. All year long, I just assumed they reseeded.
The four seed has Brown, Julio, Gronk, and Josh Gordon. frick me, lead the league in points wire to wire and get a brutal matchup cause ESPN does not code this in.

Yea I think you have to stick with the settings you started the year with.
Not sure I’m in favor of reseeding. It’s a bracket after all...but to each league their own of course.

In Yahoo it is an option in the settings whether to turn on reseeding or not. Have you looked in the settings on ESPN to see if it is mentioned?

Pro sports all reseed, especially the NFL, which is what fantasy football is based on.

I did not see the option either preseason or the other day when I checked.

I feel like this is the wrong verb.
I get what everyone is saying, but it isn't a reseed. It's just lowest seed versus highest seed in each round. The #6 does not all of a sudden become the #4 seed.
It's highest seed versus lowest seed each round.
Regardless, that is how it should function. Sucks for the 2 seed to basically get the easier matchup. Definitely a good idea to put it in the league rules for next year.
