CJ's first year he was a late round pick. you woulda been able to keep him at 5ish for 2 years. that would be ridic.

i think the restricted free agent idea is the best yet. heard them talking about it on xm

Okay..so say someone last year got Austin and Greene off the waiver wire. They will be able to keep these two players for $1 each. Giving them $198 to bid with.

The person who keeps AP and say Fitz, will keep them for say $75.

Eta--this Is me arguing against keeping for the price you paid
Team A has $198 to bid with
Team B has $125

in a keeper draft, the other teams have equal opportunities of grabbing players via a draft. Auction keeper, whoever lucks out on waiver pickups and keeps for $1 will have the greatest opportunity to get the top redraft players.

What if we did an Auction this year, keep 2, and then switch it to draft next year?

I would imagine this league will not make it to year two.......

In theory, the RFA idea sounds good, but Yahoo is not set up to handle this and the $200 budgets could be difficult to keep up with.

I can see this being a clusterfrick down the road.

Toula I get what ur trying to say, but I think Austin or Greene would cost a lil more to pick up than a dollar

I vote for RFA, but one question, the original owner can get the player if they match the high bid or what?

yes. The point is it gives you a fair market value for the player.

you can do match the high bid or match and pay a 10% increase. match is fine with me

I say match, now do you have to decide your 2 pre-auction?
