I think ekeler is the better blocking back and they will want to protect the rookie qb. I'd go down swinging with ekeler

I’d play Ekeler over Kelley too, but I think it’s pretty clear they like what Kelley brings from a rushing standpoint, no matter what PFF or the metrics think.

Ekeler is the short term play and Kelley might takeover later in the season. But against the panthers this week I don't think it's really even a decision to roll with ekeler

Yeah my only worry is that Kelley is getting almost all Goal line touches.

My point was more that Ekeler is touching the ball 20x at an elite level
I would take Kelley over a lot of these other perceived RB2/flex types. We just know they had no problem feeding a mediocre Melvin Gordon a bunch of looks too

I think it's clear that Ekeler is head and shoulders above Kelley but could stacked boxes have more to do Kelley's lack of efficiency week 2? He passed the eye test for me week one but noticed he was running it up the middle for a lot of short yardage stuff against KC which may have contributed to why he went from 5ypc week 1 to 2.78 ypc week 2. I know he was also playing a better defense. I read that he faced one of the highest percentages of stacked boxes through the first 2 weeks. I can't find the exact percentages but would be curious to know.
