Should I offer Robby Anderson and A. Ekeler for Hogan? Would this be a good trade or am I just overreacting to Anderson’s 1 Target?

Standard scoring

Cooks
D Thomas
Anderson

Barkley
Cook
Breida
A Jones
Ekeler

You now have 3 weeks left of Hogan with no Edelman. This week he plays JAX, so really 2 weeks left. Then he becomes 3rd fiddle to Gronk and Edelman

Hogan was the 3rd option last year as well. Different situation though probably. The number 1 corner was on Cooks on the outside and Hogan saw the number 2. I'm not so sure that the number 1 corner would play inside on Edleman.

Valid points. And typically NE is so unpredictable aside from Brady and Gronk.

Hogan was the 3rd option last year as well

In 12 games dating back to last season including the playoffs when Hogan was the 3rd option

- Hogan has went for 6 catches for 63 yards combined in 6 of those game combined. Five games with 1 reception and another with 2 receptions.

- He performed in the other 6, scoring six TDs and going over 4 rec and 60 yards in each game

This illustrating the mercurial season of the 3rd option on the Patriots

I wonder if his injury had anything to do with his dip in production. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to argue against your point, just discussing Hogan because I drafted him. But I don't know that I would go out and target him in a 2 for 1 trade like Anderson and Eckler. As you pointed out, you can never tell with the Patriots.

I would not offer that personally. Hogan as the #1 outside guy for NE will draw a lot of tough matchups and I think he has more average or bad performances than good. Ekeler is an exciting RB to roster right now, and Robby Anderson is capable. I think Sam Darnold will settle in a little bit and not lean on those possession receivers as much, hopefully gunning some more downfield passes for Robby.
