Sorta. Mostly overloaded at WR.
And I'm keen on Andre, so I was comfortable with it.

After all the hurtful things you said about me last week after the trade I just don't know...I just don't know

Does yahoo allow us to do a vote for trade approvals? In another league you can just approve a trade and it automatically goes thru after 6 approves. Helps trades go thru much faster. I would think we could do a quick league vote and change this, if it lets you. Thoughts?

I think I have it set up for 24 hrs to protest
but again, nothing shady about this deal so I'll give the opportunity for it to be viewed and then push it through tomorrow, barring someone raising total hell....

Yeah, I agree. I wasn't complaining. With Thursday night football every week, it makes trading a bitch. Gotta wait til after waivers, then bam its gameday.
and has driveman been MIA? I sent him a trade offer but no response.

I really think 90% of trades don't require a vote, but that's just me....
Driveman and Bourg have been largely absent

Nobody should have any say so in any deal they are not involved. Period. Unless there is blatant evidence that collusion is going on.
The veto process is the stupidest aspect of fantasy football.
Not saying y'all think we colluded. I just am in favor of the commish pushing every trade through immediately once he sees it.

I agree wise and j. All the 'should I veto this trade' threads piss me off. I love some of these FF legends in their own mind telling people how to run their teams because they don't deem them as 'fair'. That's bullshite. Collision only veto. Everything else is a slippery slope.

I've only stepped in and vetoed a trade once. Last year they tried this deal.... Colt McCoy, Peyton Hillis, Malcolm Floyd for Brees and MJD.

I have been in 2-3 leagues for the past 8 years and can't recall a trade worthy of a veto.
Last year guys in one league bitched cause a guy offered me Gore and Sims walker for grant and Floyd. I dot even know the guy and he offered it to me so no collusion. I said who are you guys to judge what this guy wants and doesn't want. He hated Gore (injury) and had hopes for Grant. Let him play he paid his money too.

I'm not a fan of trade vetoes either. In my big league, the veto process is used almost exclusively to screw other owners (to keep a guy's team from becoming 'too good'). I've been screwed mutliple times out of legit deals that both parties were excited about, but got vetoed. Player values are so subjective. Now we're stuck with a league votes system because everyone is wary of the commish being invloved in trades. I don't like it, but it at least puts a check on the commish's powers. IMO trades should be pretty much be a rubber stamp unless there is something obviously wrong.
