When did we want to draft? After the NFL draft? During preseason at some point?

Pretty clearly needs to be after NFL draft. Earliest possible that would be reasonable is probably June like the initial draft last year. Probably waiting later is best, but I'm sure I'll start getting the itch myself before too long.

Just dropping in to check on Gyno. Has he posted since Barkley ran that 40 yard dash?

Good lord

Simply remarkable. Barkley was hoping to go sub-4.4 on his second attempt but essentially duplicated his first run with a 4.42. Regardless, those are monster times for a 233-pound back. The only running back to top Barkley in the forty was NC State's Nyheim Hines, who clocked a 4.38. Barkley has had an insane Combine, managing an absurd 29 reps on the bench press while also contributing a 41-inch vertical. The 21-year-old is a lock to be the first running back drafted and has a good chance to go in the top five.

There are only 2 players to weigh 230+ lbs, run the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds or faster, and vertical jump 40" or higher at the Combine since 2003:

Vernon Davis (2006)
Saquon Barkley (2018)

Gyno

I was just offered Bell straight up for 1.01 and turned it down. I’m looking for as much as I can get at this point, with full intent to keep 1.01 unless I get a monster offer.

What are your thoughts?

To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the ESPN format and I thought I could handle two dynasty leagues and 3 redraft leagues at a time, but I was wrong.

I know how much it annoys me to have semi-active members in my other dynasty league, so I didn’t want to be “that guy”.

I think turning down Bell for Barkley is probably letting hype get to your head. Barkley does seem like superman right now, but he still hasn't played a single down in the NFL while Bell has arguably been the most valuable player in fantasy (single season format) for at least a couple of years. But I can see being very hesitant to move off of that pick. Bell getting older. How close you are to competing right now in that league and maybe having the younger asset fitting that better. Maybe you can try to milk more out of negotiating. etc. The big dreams definitely lie with Barkley, but I think Bell is the rational choice.

I'm probably wrong about everything, like usual, though.

Officially, no tags for amongst others:

Id like Cousins in MIN
ARob in SF
Watkins in NO
