A bottom feeder team who is very active in my 2 qbr league has a player I want.

My QBs are Brees, Stafford, and Cutler.
His QBs are Cam, RG3, and Palmer.

He has refused every trade I have sent his way when he had Julio, and now he has Demaryius Thomas instead of Julio (who I still want)

Since I am waiver wire 1, I decided to pick up Cousins. Am I wrong for fricking him over so he will trade me his best WR?

ETA: Forgot to add this is a family friend and my old hockey coach. If that even matters.

ETA2:
Just got a message from the League Manager. He told me that he had thought he locked Cousins so that way no one could pick him up in free agency and that way he could just hand it to the guy who has RG3. Told me that I have to drop Cousins or one of my qbs so he can give them to the other guy.

Someone wouldn't play with you and now you're out to get him?

Yes is the answer to your question.

Bottom Feeder syndrome... they never trade. Had a guy last year who held onto H. Nicks (thankfully for me) the entire year... went like 4-9.

I think thats part of the game though... Grab who you can and make it work. no dick move

It isn't like he is the only one that will want Cousins.

Here are some other teams qbs:
A) Andy Dalton, EJ Manuel
B) Alex Smith, Jake Locker
C) Big Ben, Ryan Fitzpatrick

I agree. Just a stupid move to try and play against 1 person when they have 6-10 others in the league. Only hurting yourself here. He's obviously not going to give up DT88 or Julio, certainly not for Cousins + whoever else.

That's not the reason you gave.

My original offer when he had Julio

My team:
QB: Brees, Stafford, Cutler
RB: Gore, Ball, Johnson, Forsett
WR: A. Brown, Maclin, Cooks, Hawkins, Williams, Gordon
TE: Olsen, Gates

His team:
QB: Cam, Palmer, RQ3
RB: Ridley, Charles, Crowell
WR: Fitzgerald, Julio (Now Thomas), Sanders, Quick, Cooper, Boldin, Nicks, Streater
TE: Cameron, Allen

I offered: Cutler, Gates, Cooks
For : Allen, Julio

Honestly, he would instantly improve at QB and at TE (could play one or both te's). He'd be losing Julio, but getting Cooks.
Honestly feel like it was sorta trade rape for me, but I still have more faith in Brees and Stafford than Cutler, and don't need 3 top 10 fantasy qbs.

I think you are putting too much stock in Cooks at this point. He could prove to be that valuable in the end, but is still an unproven rookie.

Not so much value in Cooks, but it being a 2 qb league, you need 2 good qbs to win.

I mean, if it wasn't at least a fair trade, I can understand that.
But it was pretty much Cutler for Julio, Gates for Allen, with Cooks on the side.

You started a thread asking if you were being a dick for grabbing a QB to frick over another player because he wouldn't trade with you, and then it turns into "well, other people will want him too" when someone answers yes to your question?

Ok, bud.

personally, I would say if you want whoever his #1 receiver is now, you will need to give up one of your better qb's for me to take it and keep cutler yourself.

Yes, people said I was being a dick, which I agree.
The other was a second though.

You have been following me around like a little school girl with a crush lately.

Hell, I'd be willing to give up Stafford or Brees, but so far, Cutler and Stafford are both ranked 3rd in our league, with Brees ranked 11th. Would it honestly make a difference?

Our first year doing 2 qb league. It is just what I read, and so far holding true.

I have 274 points for, next person with 2 good qbs has 264, with the next best team only having 233 points for.
