Advice on which trade is fair

Guys in my league are discussing which trade is fairer. The guy is trading away Aaron Rodgers and he is 2-7...
First trade was for him to get Justin Forsett, Keenan Allen, and Shane Vereen. Trade was vetoed by league for him not getting enough back to give up Rodgers
Second trade, with another team than the first was just a swap for Aaron Rodgers for Alshon Jeffery which was allowed.
Both teams were each 5-4. Which trade is the fairer one than the guy in last place just giving up Rodgers?

They both suck, but Jeffrey for Rodgers is absolutely laughable

Forsett is the #8 PPR RB, Vereen #15. Averages only, not total points (bye weeks). Keenan has been disappointment but still top 40.

I actually think that the first trade might not be that horrible in a 4pt passing td league if the guy giving up Rodgers has a bunch of holes in his roster (likely with that record) and a decent backup qb. Vereen and forsett are really solid in ppr. I've actually been surprised at how well forsett has been doing.
Even if you disagree and think it's a bad trade, it shouldn't have been vetoed.
