Keeper deadline is tonight.

Was planning on keeping Elijah Mitchell with 11th rounder and Etienne with 12th rounder to be my RB2 and FLEX.

I can keep Dalton Schultz with my 11th instead of Mitchell if I wanted to.

I wasn't planning on it because I figured Mitchell for an 11th is a value even if he misses time...but I have been reading some fantasy "experts" say he should be avoided.

Sooo....

Either Mitchell (11th) and Etienne (12th)

or

Schultz (11th) and Etienne (12th)

Thoughts?

Missed this was superflex. Adds a big layer to it. Probably take Herbert there

I would avoid 9er’s back field

In my draft yesterday, these players were drafted back to back.

The one who took Schultz end up getting Pierce as his RB3 (which could have been Mitchell). The guy who grabbed Mitchell as his RB3 ended up with Goedert as his TE.

And oddly enough, Pierce and Goedert were also picked back to back.

Would you rather Pierce/Shultz or Mitchell/Goedert? Draft was 10 team/1pt. PPR

I ended up letting the deadline pass without doing anything so I am keeping Mitchell and Etienne.

Part of my reasoning was that I would rather take a RB in the 1st and then load up on best WRs available for a while...instead of having to worry about getting another RB in the early rounds.

Another part was seeing that Mitchell returned to practice today.

Can’t disagree. Just remember that RBs who miss preseason take time to produce. And Etienne has yet to produce in NFL.

So be prepared to struggle at the RB position for a few weeks unless you spend draft capital at the position.
